We at the Red Barn Family Restaurant in Augusta, Maine, welcome you to our renowned chicken and seafood family restaurant.
Our delicious menu includes chicken, pork, seafood, scallops, clams, haddock, shrimp, lobster rolls, burgers, and Laura’s famous seafood stew – made up fresh with ingredients from Augusta Seafood Inc; along with various sides and desserts to please almost anyone. Serving sizes for our seafood, chicken, pork and other dishes include dinner size baskets, lunch size snacks, individual servings, and pints.
While The Red Barn’s fried chicken, seafood, and onion rings are legendary; the items on the menu range from grilled cheese sandwiches to seafood stew . The restaurant serves as much as a hundred gallons of stew a day!

I am a long time fan of The Red Barn. In December I became the Property Manager at ARCH Beta Apartments in Augusta. We are a 100 apartment elderly complex. When I first began working here in December they were gearing up for the annual Holiday Party. I learned that you folks donate food to their luncheon. Just want to say Thank You for your kindness and generosity. If you are ever able to attend this luncheon I would love to have you. The food is so greatly appreciated by our residents and if you could only see the happiness you bring!
